On Monday, as the world celebrates their loved ones on ‘VALENTINE’S DAY’ the GRASAG Women Commissioner Hopeful, Josephine Abena Cooke, popularly known as Phina joined the inmates at the Weija Leproserium to express her love.
On Valentine’s Day, I together with my team made it a personal mission to show compassion and affection to the physically disabled residents of the Weija Leprosariums.
Phina in her interaction with the inmates said “My long-term passion has been to express love in any way I can to persons living with disabilities, and being able to do so has enable me to realize my long-term goal of putting smiles on the faces of these people at the Leprosariums.”
She was surrounded by friends and family who shared her wish, Chocolates, biscuits, among the items.
She her willingnes to make this an annual event as she finally offered words of encouragement and optimism, assuring them that they may contact her at any time and she would come to their rescue in a formal manner.
Phina expressed her appreciations to the Weija Municipal Assembly for your support.
Many social media activist have commended the young but dynamic famale students’ leader for the kind gesture done the Leprosariums on a day like this.
