The Member of Parliament for Tema West Constituency, Hon. Kingsley Carlos Ahenkorah has donated assorted foods and bales of used clothes to the fire disaster victims at Tema.
The fire outbreak which occurred on Tuesday, 7th February, 2023 displace hundreds of people in the Sampson Yard at Tema. Hon. Carlos Ahenkorah who is the MP for the area visited the fire scene with Police and Fire Service on the day of the disaster and sympathize with the victims after assessing the rate of destruction and promised to come to their aid.
Yesterday, Saturday 11th February, 2023, Hon. Carlos Ahenkorah paid an unannounced visit to the victims at Sampson yard to present hundreds of used clothes and food items estimated at over Hundre Thousand Ghana Cedis (ghc100,000.00).
“I am here not only because I am your member of Parliament, but as your brother and father who is highly saddened and downhearted about the predicament you currently find yourself and empathize with you” – Carlos Ahenkorah said.
The relieved victims expressed their appreciation to the MP for showing them kindness and prayed for God’s blessings in all his endeavors.
